Mmmmmm, Tasty.
My new favorite place is Sweet Italy, the little gelateria that opened down the street from us. I am a gelato junkie, but I’ve never been able to find anything that comes even remotely close to the real deal. Until now. After my very first sample, I was instantly transported back to the Spanish Steps. The second sample shot me straight back to Verona. After the third, I was convulsing, since I’m pretty sure I went into sugar shock. The nice folks at Sweet Italy will let you sample all of their flavors (they have over 80) until you find just the right one. For those of you who don’t live in Flower Mound, you should really make the drive. Sure, it sounds like a commercial, but until you’ve had it, you just won’t understand. I’m pretty sure that tonight I’ll dream about St. Mark’s square and Santa Croce.

Pachugo’s is very close to Italian gelato.
The Spanish Steps was cool to hang out and people watch.
