Painted Lady
There may be more paint on me than on the walls. However, even without Kevin’s help, my kitchen is now painted a bright and lively apple green. Okay, I may have left the really high stuff for Kev, but I did all the trim myself. I have blisters and I look like I’m related to Kermit the Frog, but my kitchen is gorgeous. Pictures to follow at another time….

I helped a friend paint her entire house and now we both have “painting” clothes! I congratulate you on your beautiful kitchen and just can’t wait to see the pictures!
Anyone ever wonder how the people on Trading Spaces paint a room without wearing the paint, too?

I told Kevin that the only thing I forgot to pick up was the Trading Spaces smock! 😉

I can’t wait to see your apple green kitchen, Merrin!
I’m pretty certain I’ll be painting soon, and I’m scared!!! My distant past experience with painting has made me very reluctant b/c I remember wearing more paint than the wall…

I so want a house so I can be in Trading Places.

Mona – if you want you can just take over the payments here and when Trading Spaces comes you can say it’s your house! Does that help?
And, for the record, I did my share of the painting – it’s just that my share (in this one room) is about 15%. I mean, heck, it is the kitchen, right? I mean…a woman’s place and all?!
