Sing, Sing A Song

The following songs are ones that have been sung recently in our shower:
The Rose, by Bette Midler
Oh, Canada, the Canadian National Anthem
Slip Slidin’ Away, by Paul Simon
Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, from Evita
Standing Still, by Jewel
Superstar, by The Carpenters
Come What May, from Moulin Rouge
Tin Cup Chalice, by Jimmy Buffett
One Particular Harbor, by Jimmy Buffett
As If, by Blaque
We Belong, by Pat Benetar
I’m With You, by Avril Lavigne
Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, by Marvin Gaye
Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone, by Bobby “Blue” Bland (I sung this one this morning)

Believe it or not, I’m more prone to belt out pop hits, while my husband favors the more “standard” (or eccentric) tunes, such as the Canadian National Anthem. Why? I have no idea. But it’s just one more reason why we’re perfect for one another. Who else would listen while their spouse serenaded the dogs with the score of Evita? And believe me, I know how lucky I am that Kevin puts up to my off-key rendition of Bette Midler’s The Rose. What do you sing in the shower?

Can it be when the vacuume is running? Oh, then I can sing Norah Jones to the top of me lungs!

In the shower, voices carry, so that’s out….
