Lucky #102
How insane am I? I just left work early (which I never do) to go put my name on the “roll call” list for Bruce Springsteen. For those of you who don’t know what that is, please allow me to explain:
The concert is TOMORROW night at 7:30. However, if you are one of the ones lucky enough to get your name on the list (only 300 names are taken), then you get to be right in the front for the show. In order to accomplish this, your name must be on the list to reserve your place in line. There are then numerous roll calls tonight and thoughout tomorrow. If you are not present for a roll call (even if you’ve already been through 2 or 3), then you get bumped. So basically, I will be living at the American Airlines Center all day tomorrow, and this is all before they even let us inside the building. Ah, who cares? I’ll be the one down front, sucker.
