Today’s Shameful Admission
Okay. Here goes. I have a huge weakness for bad teenager movies. I love Can’t Hardly Wait, I know just about every line in Bring It On, and today, I’ve added yet another to my list of guiltly pleasures: Blue Crush. I Tivo’d it last night, and I watched it twice today. Damn. I’m a loser. But I sure wanna be a surfer girl when I grow up! No, it’s not a great film, but it offers a whole lot of escapism, and isn’t that what movies are all about?

Oooooo, I haven’t seen Blue Crush. I have a weakness for teen movies, too. I’m a huge fan of Ten Things I Hate About You and Save the Last Dance and Down to You, etc, etc.

According to someone who posted on my movie blog, movies are supposed to make you think. But screw that… I’ll take a bad teenager movie any day! I’ll have to check out Blue Crush! 🙂

I love 10 Things I Hate About You! And yes, teen movies are the bomb. Set your Tivo!

Can’t Hardly Wait is probably one of the best teen movies ever! It’s way better than stupid Breakfast Club. I love that movie!

Now I understand why you kicked our ass tonight…

I am also a teen movie lover. Given the fact that Michael is nearly nine years older than me, he ribs me about this quite a bit. Ah husbands…

Hey! Nobody mentioned Drive Me Crazy! I’m not a fan of the younger set, but the movies are still good, some of them!
Haven’t seen Blue Crush, but hell yeah, I wanna be a surfer girl, too! Just scared of sharks, drowning, getting pounded by waves…

We just got a TiVo for Christmas. I just love that I can use it as a verb now =)

Haha, I searched your sites for “TiVo”…lots of entries came up. You two are funny funny people. We love our TiVo, too. Everyone really needs to get one. Then again, it’s fun to be the envy of the regular TV people.
