Well, not love, per se, more like tolerance. Sometimes it just runs out, and today is one of those days. I was fine until I got home, and it is in no way directed at Kevin, who is an angel (of course). In a strange turn of events, my tolerance meter dropped from “medium” to “nonexistent” in the blink of an eye, and while I feel fairly confident I could pinpoint the reasons, we won’t go into them here. To make a long story longer: I am done dealing with people who irritate me. I am 27 years old, and patience is no longer required, as there is simply too little time on this earth to concern oneself with the minutiae of the bullshit which threatens to bury us all. Be warned: Are you stupid? Don’t bother me. Do you need something? Go away. Are you whining? I don’t care.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. I feel better now. So much so, in fact, that I am glad to share the news that I finally watched 8 Mile last night. I know, I know. You’d think that me with my massive crush on one Marshall Mathers would have enjoyed the cinematic spectacle several times now. However, and I’m sure you’ll agree, it was definitely worth the wait. Kevin grew only a little leery over repeatedly mopping the small puddle of drool which accumulated at my feet, and a good time was had by all. He even watched the bonus Rap Battle scenes. Pretty fly for a white guy! And one more thing: If you all behave yourselves, I’ll fill you in on the details of the dream I had last night, starring me, Mr. Mathers, and Harry Potter. No, you perv, it wasn’t dirty, just really strange.
