Trying To Find My Rhythm
You know, as I inch closer and closer to 30, you’d think I’d already be acquainted with life’s quirky ups and downs. You conquer one problem, and three more rear their ugly heads. My home life (read: anything not having to do with work) has quieted down significantly, and of course, that’s the most important thing. But now work has become stressful again. Sure, I enjoyed the nice little respite, but now it’s back to the grindstone, only this time it seems like there is an endless mountain of stuff to deal with. Normally, I wouldn’t mind, but I feel like I’ve been expending every ounce of my energy for the last three months, and I just don’t know how much I have left. I swear to everything holy, this is some kind of cosmic payback for having such a peaceful few years. I can handle anything for 3 weeks…..
